Spreadsheets Produced
  • T-Safe performs an analysis on one or more of the antenna systems (grouped by location) contained in the Antenna Database. The T-Safe analysis returns percentages of the controlled maximum permissible human exposure (MPE) limits based on FCC Bulletin 65 guidelines. The model is analyzed at 10 cm increments from the base of the tower to its tip to determine hot spots at any location on the tower.
  • T-Safe generates an overall summary of the analysis performed to provide a quick overview of the antenna system of interest.
  • The results of the calculations at each tested point on the tower and along the ground are shown in detail on the output spreadsheet as well. The Maximum Permissible Exposure Time (for controlled areas) and the Total Percent of Controlled Compliance Limits are given for each calculated point on the tower. The Total Percent of Uncontrolled Compliance Limits for each calculated point along the ground is given as well. There are often thousands of points examined in great detail (depending on the size of the system being analyzed), making T-Safe a truly formidable analysis package.
  • The summary and graph data is already in a format that can be imported into T-Site for fast and easy database storage and organization.

Basic output data is summarized in an easy to read format. The section shown represents only the summary of the calculations performed. (enlarge)

T-Safe also outputs the results of all of its detailed calculations at every single point studied along the tower and on the ground. This data can now be used for further study or other purposes. (enlarge)
Graphs Produced

T-Safe generates four different graphs for each location. These graphs are contained in the output spreadsheet (see above). They display the data calculated in an easy to read and understand format. Examples of the graphs produced for one location are shown below.
Graph 1 - Click to enlarge Graph 2 - Click to enlarge
Graph 1 (above) shows the Power Density Exposure along the sampled points on the tower (every 10cm apart), given as a percentage of the maximum permissible exposure limit for controlled areas. The sample graph above models that in this example, danger zones occur around 25 and 55 meters above ground level. (enlarge) Graph 2 (above) shows the controlled Maximum Permissible Exposure Time along the sampled points on the tower (every 10cm apart), given in minutes. For this example, the areas on the tower with exposure limits correspond to the hot spots seen on Graph 1. (enlarge)
Graph 3 - Click to enlarge Graph 3 (left) shows a color-coded diagram categorizing different regions of the tower into varying degrees of exposure. These regions range from low exposure (light green) to very high exposure (dark red). With this graph, even untrained persons can identify dangerous regions of a tower with ease. For example, post on or around a tower to let climbers or technicians identify dangerous areas quickly and easily. (enlarge) Graph 4 - Click to enlarge
Graph 4 (above) shows the Power Density Exposure at tested points along the ground (every 10cm apart), starting at the base of the tower and moving radially to 0.1 km away. The data is given as a percentage of the maximum permissible exposure limit for uncontrolled areas. This graph is useful to help identify if a tower is out of compliance in uncontrolled regions around the tower, such as residential or commercial areas. (enlarge)
